Committees

In furtherance of its aims and objectives, Amity Foundation has standing and adhoc committees that help to deliver on its mandate. These Committees are;

  1. Welfare: A 5-member committee that deals with issues related to benefits for members.
  2. Investment: A 7-member committee that manages the investment portfolio of the association.
  3. Finance: A 5-member committee that is tasked specially to examine the finance of the association from time to time and recommends appropriate actions that will make the group solvent.
  4. Entertainment: A 5-member committee responsible for planning and execution of the recreational activities of the group.
  5. Constitution: A 5-member committee responsible for reviewing the constitution when needed.
  6. Elections: A 5-member committee responsible for organizing elections to elect officers for the group.
  7. Audit: This is a group comprising two (2) external accountants and one member who is responsible for auditing the accounts of the association every year, as required by the Ghana Companies Code, 1963 (Act 179)
